Gerlinde Sanders

Gerlinde Sanders studied Dutch law and notarial law in Nijmegen. She started working as a lawyer in 1996, specializing in family law, inheritance law and bankruptcy law. In 2001, she made a temporary move from the legal profession: for almost seven years, she worked at the research department (civil section) of the Supreme Court. Gerlinde returned to the legal profession in February 2008: initially working in family law as well as in real estate. After that, she specialized in inheritance law again. Since 2016 she has worked as a lawyer partner at a medium-sized law firm. Gerlinde has joined SILK Advocaten & Mediators as of 1 September 2021.

Empathy, decisiveness and custom work

Gerlinde combines empathy and decisiveness to assist her clients in the best possible way. By listening carefully and then carefully analyzing the relevant information, she guides her clients. Her passion is to guide her clients to a tailor-made solution that is preferably designed as simply as possible. And, clients are only really helped when it is a practical solution that is sustainable in the long term.

Inheritance law and family law specialist

Gerlinde has extensive experience in inheritance law, family law, both as a lawyer and as a mediator. Her extensive experience in real estate law proves to be of great value in her practice. She is a member of both the Association of Inheritance Lawyers in the Netherlands (VEAN) and the Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (vFAS). She successfully completed the Grotius Real Estate course in 2010, successfully completed the family law specialization course of the vFAS in 2011 and completed the inheritance law specialization course in 2015 by obtaining her certificate.

Gerlinde’s office is in The Hague, but she can also meet in Amsterdam or Alphen aan den Rijn on request.

Gerlinde lives with her husband and their four children in Alphen aan den Rijn.
