Zoë Vis

Zoë Vis successfully graduated from Leiden University with a Master’s in Juvenile Justice in 2016 and a Master’s in Civil Law in 2017. She developed a deep interest in family law during her studies. During that period, Zoë gained experience in the law of persons and family law at Groenendijk & Kloppenburg Advocaten, where she started her career as a student intern and subsequently as a legal secretary and legal assistant.

Experience in the Court of Justice The Hague

Before joining SILK Advocaten & Mediators, she spent eighteen months as a legal assistant in family law in the Court of Justice in The Hague. This gave her acute insight into the way in which judicial decisions are made and she also learnt how to approach cases from two sides.

Following her stint at the Court of Justice in The Hague, Zoë worked for some time as a lawyer at Van Hilten Advocaten & Mediators in Amsterdam.
